Borderlands 2 hit the shelves this week and the moment I saw the intro, I was in love!
Who is he? Axton
Class: Commando (same as the soldier class in Borderlands)
Occupation: Vault Hunter
I didn’t play this class in Borderlands, but in Borderlands 2, the turret makes life pretty sweet. If you’re new to this series, Axton is one of four playable characters. Like the look but not the name? No worries, you can change it. Don’t you just love a man who’s flexible?
There’s no deep back story to this character, aside from the fact that you’re looking for a big payday in the vault, you just jump right in and start shooting. So, who delivers the limited dialog to this handsome collection of pixels?
Axton is your typical soldier minus the super, roided out physique. He’s in shape, but he’s by no means freakishly huge. His look is classic, rugged, and handsome, with a simple tattoo that draws the eye and scars that allude to a life in battle. Either that or he’s really bad at shaving.
Axton doesn’t say much, and that’s just fine. I wasn’t playing the game for in-depth exchanges, and yet, I was still surprised by how much I liked his look.
So it’s back to Pandora for bullets, critters, vaults, weapons and love!
