After six years as the head and board chairman of Electronic Arts, John Riccitiello resigns, effective March 30th.
The timing of this announcement is very interesting, given the fact that the gaming industry is on the edge of releasing next gen content for the new consoles.
Many gamers lamented EA’s involvement in some of their favorite franchises in recent years, crediting the company with, “ruining” games. Will we see more of the same while the company searches for a replacement? Who knows.
